When & where you can ride the Bulla Hill Miniature Railway
Bulla Hill Miniature Railway is open to the general public from 11:00 am – 4.00 pm (Last train leaves the station at 3:45 pm) on the THIRD Sunday of each month.
Entry Ticket
Entrance into Bulla Hill Miniature Railway is completely FREE for everyone.
Train Ticket
Each ticket to ride the Miniature Railway Train is $5.00 per person

Shelter Hire
Reservations for our shelters are only for the days that the train operate THIRD SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH.

Our Facilities
3rd Sunday of every month ONLY
Opens 11am – 4pm. Bulla Hill Miniature Railway is the perfect venue for parties particularly children’s birthday parties.
We have an enclosed private picnic area complete with two coin operated barbeques and seven picnic shelters. Toilet facilities and a kiosk are at the station.
There is a great children’s playground located right outside our gates in the public parkland area.
There is a large FREE car park.

The drive to this place (from Mickleham) was such a treat to the eyes with the hilly views. There was ample of parking and sadly the flea market was closed due to strong winds (we were looking forward to it). The frequency of the trains were regular, so the wait was not too long. The $5 ride, I felt was worth it. Besides the beautiful views of the surrounding nature, there were other things like dinos, toys etc that excite the kiddos and created gasps, which then stopped my child from whining and crying 😅. There was a playground to keep the kids occupied later and a table or two nearby for u to use for a picnic. Tried to book the shelter around 1wk in advanced but they were already fully booked, so suggest for u to book much earlier if u really need it. Overall, a great, budget friendly place to bring ur kids and have a nice picnic! 🙂
We had a great experience at Bulla Hill Miniature Railway. The rides were well-run, affordable, and perfect for families. Our children especially enjoyed the train ride, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A fantastic, budget-friendly activity for all ages.
Definitely enjoyable for the kids that is really affordable, loved the dinosaurs and various toys scattered around the track to make the ride an amusing visual experience. Plenty of parking. Canteen, gift/toy shop, child’s playground, pagoda, and toilets available on site. Only advice is to avoid coming at peak times on school holidays, especially if you have little ones who lose their patience quickly standing in long queues. Also note that the ticket line is separate from the queue to actually get on the ride.
